The word of God is life

And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? Speak unto the children of Israel that they go forward: (Exodus14:15).

Success in life is, largely, determined by our ability to defy temporary, contrary circumstances in other to achieve our set goals and objectives. Actually, what makes a man or woman stand out in the
midst of the crowd is, more or less, his or her capacity to endure hard times and plod on, determinedly, towards his or her desired and defined destination in life. That is, their ability to go forward in spite of all odds. And, that is what God commanded Moses and the children of Israel to do in our text above.

Meanwhile,we need to known that in life those who succeed are those who, perseveringly, conitnued trying when others have given up. That is why Jack Ma,the CEO and founder of alibaba group and one of the richest Chinese said, "Never give up. Today is hard, tomorrow will be worse, but the day after tomorrow will be sunshine". It takes persevering faith to succeed in life. Therefore,don't give up,just keep on going forward by faith,something is on the offing for you.

Now, let us analyze our lead verse above in the following ways:
1. GOD’S DIRECTIVE TO GO FORWARD BY FAITH IN SPITE OF ALL OBSTACLES: And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? Speak unto the children of Israel that they go forward: (Exo.4:15).width550px

God Almighty is a progressive God. He does not go back, look back or draw back when He sets out on any project. In fact,He doesn't know failure.And,that is what He expects all His true children to do. Forward movement, even in the face of contrary circumstances. Of course, you know as well as I do that, He is the Almighty One. And as such, does not know any obstacle when He works (Isaiah 43:13).
In our text, there was a Red Sea before the children of Israel. Not only that, the Egyptians were pursuing hard after them. And, God commanded them to move forward in the direction of the Sea. That is His directive to all His children, “go forward by faith in spite of all obstacles”. If you are a genuine child of God, He is telling you to go forward in following Him and pursuing your goals, not minding your obstacles.

2. GROUNDED DETERMINATION TO GO FORWARD BY FAITH IN SPITE OF ALL OPPOSITION: Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. Then Joshua commanded the officers of the people, saying, Pass through the host, and command the people, saying, Prepare you victuals; for within three days ye shall pass over this Jordan, to go in to possess the land, which the LORD your God giveth you to possess it. (Joshua1:9-11).

Joshua’s determination to go forward was firmly grounded and rooted in the promises of God. The promises of God are dependable as we face seemingly opposition of this life and in the service of God. That is what Joshua understood and took a determined decision of going forward in spite of the opposition of men and circumstances. But, remember, he was a child and servant of God. That was what gave him the temerity and audacity to go forward in defiance to the realities around him. The knowledge of God empowers and emboldens us to overcome difficult times.

3. GREAT DOMINION IN GOING FORWARD BY FAITH IN SPITE OF ALL OBSTRUCTIONS: And Isaac's servants digged in the valley, and found there a well of springing water. And the herdsmen of Gerar did strive with Isaac's herdsmen, saying, the water is ours: and he called the name of the well Esek; because they strove with him. And they digged another well, and strove for that also: and he called the name of it Sitnah. And he removed from thence, and digged another well; and for that they strove not: and he called the name of it Rehoboth; and he said, for now the LORD hath made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land. (Gen.26:19-22).

One thing that is sure is that true servants of God who are walking in obedience to God commands great authority and dominion in life. That is what many believers are ignorant of, and as a result of this ignorance, stall their movement in life as soon as they run into obstructions en route their desired destination. But, not Isaac. Similiarly,God expects all His true children to keep going forward, even in the face of all odds, opposition, obstacles and obstructions. If you are one of them, may God help you to do that in Jesus name. On the other hand,if you are not,why not? Give your life to the Lord Jesus Christ and He will strengthen you to keep going forward in spite of all odds. God bless you abundantly.
